This was La Sureña Blues' first gig at the Shamrock Bar in Puerto Rico. There's nothing like an audition in front of an audience to test their mettle! Despite unfamiliar sound equipment, they wowed the audience with some great rock and blues.
The gig included Buddy Holly's Not Fade Away (made famous by the Rolling Stones), Tulsa Time (versions by Eric Clapton and Don Williams), the Spencer Davis Group's Keep on Running and Sensible Shoes written by Van Halen's David Lee Roth.
